Tatvix engineering
Embedded firmware development
Firmware connects physical signals to dependable product behaviour. Tatvix plans boot, timing, peripheral control, communications and failure handling together, so implementation can be checked against the way the device will actually be used.
What we work through
- Define peripheral interfaces, timing needs, operating states and recovery behaviour.
- Develop drivers, application logic and communication protocols for the selected hardware.
- Integrate and test firmware on the target device, documenting the build and known constraints.
Typical deliverables
- Firmware source and build instructions
- Interface and configuration documentation
- Test findings and handover notes
Final deliverables, acceptance criteria and responsibilities are defined in the agreed project scope.
Tools & technologies
Selected for the requirements.
Technology choices depend on your product. Relevant options include:
- C / C++
- FreeRTOS
- Zephyr
- Embedded Linux
- ARM
Technology names describe engineering options, not vendor partnerships or endorsements.
How do you choose between bare metal, RTOS and embedded Linux?
We start with timing, memory, peripherals, connectivity and maintenance requirements. The choice follows those constraints; an operating system is selected when it solves a practical product need.
